Scope of Application:
The HST-HST200 Heat Shrinkage Tester is designed for evaluating the heat shrinkage properties of various materials. It is suitable for testing the heat shrinkage performance of various films—immersed in a liquid medium at multiple temperatures—including PE heat-shrink films used for the collective packaging of items such as alcoholic beverages, canned goods, mineral water, and various other drinks. It is also applicable to other shrink films suitable for diverse packaging needs (e.g., PVC, POF, OPS, PET), flexible packaging laminates, rigid PVC sheets, solar cell backsheets, and any other materials exhibiting heat-shrinkable characteristics.

Test Principle:
The instrument precisely controls the temperature of the heat-transfer oil contained within the heating bath. A specimen of a specific size is cut and immersed in the heating bath for a predetermined duration. Once the designated time has elapsed, the specimen is removed; after cooling to room temperature, its dimensions are measured to calculate the heat shrinkage rate. Applicable Standards:
