YYJ5/5 Chain Type Rock Perimeter Extensometer

Specification:

1 Applicable rock sample diameter: 50 ~ 150mm.
2. Deformation: 5mm

Usage Method:

1. Taking the 50mm diameter sample as an example:
(1) Now connect the two small chains with their hooks and hang them on the fifth chain post.
(2) After hanging the small chain ring, pull the chain ring slightly and put it on the rock sample, adjusting it  to the middle of the sample.
(3) Measuring the distance between the two cutting edges with a caliper and adjust the two small screws of the small hook so that the distance between the two cutting edges is 5mm, and the two cutting edges should be parallel. Finally, the two blades can be adjusted by hand to make them parallel.
(4) Install the clamp gauge between the two knife edges. Note that the clamp gauge extensometer should be perpendicular to the two fixed knives.Since the dead weight of the clamp gauge will incline, the outgoing cable of the clamp gauge extensometer should be clamped on the beam or a certain position of the testing machine, and the clamp gauge extensometer should be parallel and perpendicular to the specimen. The deformation of the clamp gauge is not affected, and the compression and expansion deformation of the sample are truly measured.
