Introduction:

A compression tester is an instrument used to test the ring crush strength (RCT) of paper, the edge crush strength (FCT) of cardboard, the bond strength (PAT) of corrugated board, and the flat crush strength (CMT) of corrugated board. Paper mills typically use it to test the ring crush strength (RCT) of paper with a thickness of 0.15–1.00 mm. Cardboard, carton, and carton users typically use it to test the edge crush strength (ECT), flat crush strength (FCT), bond strength (PAT), and flat crush strength (CMT) of corrugated board cores with a diameter less than 60 mm.
