Application Range
This instrument primarily measures the whiteness of various materials, including paper and paperboard, pulp and chemical fiber pulp, cotton and chemical fibers, textiles, plastics, ceramics, porcelain, starch, salt, white cement, kaolin, and talc. It can also measure the optical properties of thin materials, such as opacity.
Features:
1. Determine the blue light diffuse reflectance factor (R457) of the sample, referred to as "blue light whiteness" or "ISO whiteness" (ISO Brightness).
2. Analyze whether the sample material contains fluorescent whitening agents and determine the fluorescent whiteness produced by fluorescence emission, i.e., fluorescent whitening degree.
3. Determine the luminance stimulus value Y10 of the sample, i.e., the green light diffuse reflectance factor Ry.
4. Determine the opacity, transparency (%), light scattering coefficient, and light absorption coefficient of the sample.
5. The instrument conforms to GB3978-83; standard illuminator and illumination observation conditions. Simulated D65 illuminator illumination. d/o illumination observation geometry is adopted, with a diffuse sphere diameter of 150mm, a test aperture diameter of 30mm, and a light absorber to eliminate the influence of specular reflection light from the sample.
6. The peak wavelength of the spectral power distribution of the R457 whiteness optical system is 457nm, and the half-width at half-maximum (FWHM) is 44nm. The Y10 optical system conforms to GB3979-83; object color measurement method.
7. Optional RS232 communication interface, optional mini printer printing results.
