Applications:
ASTM C363 node tensile test of honeycomb core is a fundamental property than can be used in determining whether honeycomb cores can be handled during cutting, machining and forming without the nodes breaking. ASTM C363 converses on the tensile-node bond strength, the tensile stress that causes failure of the honeycomb by rupture of the bond between the nodes. It is usually a peeling-type failure.
