Application Range

This testing machine adopts sliding friction mode. Under specified test conditions, it is used to evaluate the service performance of engineering plastics, rubber, powder metallurgy, alloy bearing materials and other materials, as well as measure their PV values. Tests can be carried out by adjusting various parameters including load, speed, duration, friction pair material, surface roughness, temperature and hardness. It can measure friction coefficient, wear loss and PV value.

This friction and wear tester is mainly applied to assess the friction and wear properties of various test materials under given conditions. Its structure is designed in accordance with ASTM B611-85 (2005). Equipped with an optional accessory (servo sand feeding system), it can perform tests complying with ASTM G65-04. In addition to standard measurement parameters and control objects, the machine is also capable of testing friction force, friction coefficient, specimen temperature and other indicators.

Operating Conditions of the Testing Machine

a) The testing machine shall operate normally under the following conditions:

b) Ambient temperature ranging from room temperature to 60℃;

c) Ambient relative humidity not higher than 80%;

d) Surroundings free of vibration, corrosive media and strong electromagnetic interference;

e) The fluctuation of power supply voltage shall not exceed ±10% of the rated voltage, and the frequency fluctuation shall not exceed 2% of the rated frequency;

f) Correctly installed on a stable foundation with a levelness of 0.2/1000.
